Hi, I’m Varya

Ceramicist · Moscow → Berlin

I’m excited to play and explore the possibilities of form and texture in ceramics. The process of making is central to my work, and most of my inspiration comes from observing the material and following it.

The work I make is not labeled or branded. It gives me a sense of connectedness to the traditions of many craftspeople, and puts the emphasis on collaborating with the material rather than shaping it.
