The idea for this collection came from a mistake that I made while practicing: clay folded into symmetrical folds. I was fascinated and tried to repeat this form, but with every try i wasn´t able to replicate it exactly
Like photographs, slip casting allows to capture precisely a fleeting moment or shape, so I chose to use it to create replicas of my favourite ´mistake´. This process not only allowed for recreation, but made my cups more functional: the inside of the cups became smoother and easier to clean

The result is a small cup, finished with various self-developed glazes as well as a collection of cups and vases distorted in a perfect way
